We sincerely apologize to residents whose key FOBs have suddenly stopped working. We know that Ghertner has received numerous complaints about this issue. Currently the security system that supports the clubhouse is over ten years old and no longer manufactured or supported. For some unexplained reason, FOBs disappear out of the system which disables the owners access to the pool and clubhouse. The HOA has been aggressively interviewing and assessing alternative solutions. We are happy to announce that within the next few weeks a new system will be installed that should resolve all the issues we have experienced. The new system will utilize the existing FOBs currently assigned. The switchover to the new system will be transparent to residents. We will notify everyone when the installation is complete so that those with FOBs that have not worked can check the new system to confirm that it is working.
